Troubleshooting & Help 🛠️

Having trouble during your visit? No worries — here are solutions to the most common issues our customers encounter.

1. 🚪 The entrance door does not open

Solutions:

  • Have you entered your 5-digit code followed by the # key? Example: 12345#

  • Double-check that your booking starts today — access won’t work before your start date.

  • If it still won’t open, message us on WhatsApp. We’ll send you a new code right away.

2. 🔐 I can't open the door to my unit

Solutions:

  • You need to first enter the master code *99#, followed by your 5-digit code and then #.
    Example: *99# 12345#

  • If the lock flashes green, you must pull the small metal lever sideways to unlock the door.

  • If the lock doesn’t flash or turns red, wait a few seconds and try again. Still not working? Contact us on WhatsApp for a backup code.

3. 📍 I can't find the facility

Solution:

  • We’re located inside Stadsfeestzaal, on the Meir side, on the second floor.

  • Look for the lift with the pink Shelfie Storage neon sign above its door, next to the escalator that goes down to the toilets on level -1.

  • Once in the lift, press 2 and it will take you directly to the facility.

4. 🔎 I can’t find my unit

Solutions:

  • Your unit number is in your confirmation email.

  • There are maps of the facility with all the units and their numbers hanging on the walls across the facility, including right by the entrance. Feel free to take a moment to study the best route to your unit. Our facility is divided into 4 colour zones for the ease of navigation and wayfinding.

  • Unit numbers are clearly labeled on the doors - check both sides of the corridor.

  • Still lost? Send us a quick WhatsApp and we’ll guide you there.

5. ❓ Where do I find my access code

Solutions:

  • Search your inbox for messages from "Shelfie Storage" or “Boxed Self Storage C.V” - your code will be there.

  • If you can’t find the welcome emails from us, please check your spam folder.

  • Can’t find it? Just message us and we’ll resend your code securely.

6. 🛗 The lift isn’t working

Solutions:

  • Be sure you’re pressing 2 for the second floor.

  • If the lift is unresponsive, step out and try again after a few seconds.

  • Persistent problem? Let us know via WhatsApp and we’ll troubleshoot it right away.
